The descendants of George Hursey

This descendant chart, from the diligent genealogical researches of Bob Hursey (1926- ), shows the descendants (as of 2002) of George Hursey, who was one of the original settlers of Washington Township. George was born in Washington, DC, in 1793, moved to eastern Ohio, and then into Washington Township in the 1820s. George begat Robert, who was the father of Isaac, father of Carlton, father of Mary Margaret, Jack, Bob, Jim and Dick, whose grandchildren, the seventh generation since George, are mostly today's (2002) youngsters. However, as can be seen, an eighth generation, through Shy (Milligan) Loader, is already well on its way.
